Winter League 2024/25 - Week 17 27 January 2025

Top three open big gap

After all losing last week the top three won convincingly tonight and stay top of the table in the same positions. Premier Shandy have a five point lead over Young Tigers and six over BILFs in third. The five following teams however all lost and there is now a gap of 17 points between third and fourth. Last week's eighth place, Bowled Over had a good 10-2 win and move up to fourth.

Meanesh had the best scratch series, 517 (598 with handicap) and Boycie had the best game, 213 (254).

Best prformance of the night though was by Shaun Pallett who smashed his previous personal bests and scored the league's highest handicap game and series of the season so far. His 510 series was 92 higher than his previous PB and his 199 game was an improvement of 40 to his PB. Both his series and game handicap scores are the best of the league so far: 708 (our first 700+ series for three years.) and 265. Shaun's second game started with five strikes and the only pity is that he didn't quite get his first 200 game.

New high scores tonight were recorded by: Boycie +38 to 504 (627) and +28 to 213 (254), Wayne +20 to 459 (606) and Darrel +6 to 196 (232)
