BILFs put pressure on leaders |
In a change of fortunes, the top three teams all lost tonight but Premier Shandy and Young Tigers keep their positions with a reduced lead. BILFs took full advantage by winning 12-0 and rise to third, only three pounts behind second and six behind first. Our Balls Work jump from sixth to fourth by beating Thunder Aeriel 10-2. High scores were dominated by two players tonight. Meanesh improved his high series by 23 pins to 538 (622 with handicap) - equal fourth best of the league so far. This included the best game of the league to date 217 (245) and was 25 higher than his previous best. Meanesh rises to the top of the scratch average table with 164.2. Chris Manning had the second best scratch series and game with new high scores: 506 (641 - best of the night) and 206 (251 - joint second best of the league.) New high games tonight were by Anita, +14 to 165 (230) and Keith Rye +6 to 183 (227)
