Young Tigers and Premier Shandy power on |
No change in the top three positions again this week but with 12-0 wins Young Tigers and Premier Shandy move well ahead of the field. YT lead by just two points with Premier S eleven points ahead of Lightning Strikes in third. Further down the table there are some big movements after back matches have been counted. All teams have now played the same number of matches. Brothers Grimm climb six places to fourth with a total of 20 points tonight and the Kings move up three to fifth after their back match. Steve Emmony and Brothers Grimm had most of the top scores. Steve hit a 561 series (678 with handicap), 83 higher than his previous high and the highest in the league so far. He also had the best game, 213 (252). Karl and Tom Cummins both had series over 530. BG had the second highest series in the league so far for scratch and handicap, 1033 (1270). Imran was 49 higher than his previous high series at 475 (634) and Keith MacFarlane improved his high series by 19 to 472 (610). Paul Simmons had a new high game, +5 to 184 (230). The semi finals of the Davies Shield and Plate were played. It will be Premier Shandy v Split Happens in the Shield final and Pin Pals v Eaybowl in the Plate final.
