BILFs are Champions again |
Congratulations to BILFs who after a 10-2 win top the league with a week to spare and retain the championship for a second year. Withn one week to play, BILFs lead second place Premier Shandy by 22 points, PS accumulated 20 points tonight including 12 from their back match and they leap from sixth to second. Young Tigers in third are ten points behind and only have a slim chance of improving in the final week. Paul Boston was this week's top scorer with 532 (673 with handicap), a massive 70 pins better than his previous high for this season.Steve Butterworth was next best with 520 (628). Luke hit the best game: his 204 (235) was a new high for the season.Darrel's 202 game was six higher than before and was his first 200 game of the season. Darren had a new high series for the season - 464 (614) and Simon Wheeler had a new high game, 14 higher at 154 (215) Cuisine of India Cup. In a close final, Premier Shandy beat Pepsirollers to take the cup. |
