All of the top three lost tonight but their lead is big enough to retain their positions. Team Aeriel still lead by two from Young Tigers but there are now 11 points to Lightning Strikes in third. Not at All had a big win over the Late Shows and are now only four behind Lightning. The only change in positions in the top half of the table is that Bunz n Burner move ahead of the Learners into sixth place.

Karl had another good week and was top scorer in all categories. His 568 (646 with handicap) series included a 232 (258) game. Boycie was next best with 543 (630) followed by John Bryer who hit a 540 (600) series on his return from injury. Eric scored the only other 200 game, exactly 200 (219).

Liz Lake improved her high series for this season by 39 to 443 (614 - third hghest tonight)

Overall, the standard of bowling is improving every week. This week 20 bowlers inproved their averages. The average scratch game this week was 147.5 and the league to date average improved by 0.2 to 144.3. The average scratch series was 442.5 (last week 426.9).
