Brothers Grimm found some good form at last to sneak through to win the league by the narrowest of margins. In order to win, the match between ICBIN Gutter in first place and Hit & Miss in second had to finish 4-8, which it did. The Brothers had to win 12-0 against Duo and that's also what happened. They produced the best series of the night and the third best of the league to beat Rich Lester, bowling on his own, by 200 pins.

ICBIN Gutter in their first league finished second, two points behind the winners and two points ahead of Hit & Miss in third.

Some good scoring tonight; six bowlers reached 500 and five had 200+ games. Both Brothers were on these lists with Terry top scorer on 535 (652 with handicap). Dale Cousins produced the second best game of the league, 236 (257) including 8 strikes and 4 nine-spares.

Well done to Richard Tewkesbury (ICBIN Gutter) for hitting his first 200 game; 206 (260) and to Lesley Reeday for a new high game and series and her first 500 series in this league.

Leaders 'I can't believe it's not Gutter' couldn't put the league beyond doubt tonight and but can still win the title at their first attempt on the final week next week. Hit & Miss jump three places to second and can win the league if they beat the leaders by 10-2 or more. Brothers Grimm in third also have a remote chance of winning.

Another week of low scores: only Dale Cousins managed a 500 series - 509 (572 with handicap) and Brian Grayson hit the best game of the night, 212 (260) which was 35 pins better than his previous best game of this league.

Leaders 'I can't believe it's not Gutter' had a walk through this week and so collect all 12 points. Their nearest challengers faltered and so they are 12 points clear of new second place Duo and 14 clear of Bros. Grimm in third.With only two weeks to go, Matt and Richard should have the league in their grasp.

Alan Barton finally found some form and beat his previous high series in the league by 106 to be the highest scorer this week with 573 (681 with handicap). Martin Cook was again in the top score lists with a 552 series (612).

Leaders 'I can't believe it's not Gutter' increased their lead to six points after beating last week's second place The Owls 10-2. Hit & Miss jump two places to second and the Turkeys climb three places to third. It is very close in the middle of the table - just two points separate third and seventh. With only three weeks to go, any of these seven can win the league.

Three players reached 500 this week; Rich Lester and Steve Emmony were top scorers and Martin Cook had the only 200+ game.

Again very few good scores tonight, only one scratch series over 500, by Martin Cook and the best game was 182 by Richard Lester. Matt Lowe headed the high game and high series tables with handicap.

Duo are the fourth team to lead the league after five weeks after winning 8-4 against Pin Fellas. They lead by two points from three teams - former leaders X-Men and the Owls and newcomers "I can't believe it's not Gutter" who took all twelve points from Dominoes this week.

Very few good scores tonight: Rich Lester was the only player to reach 500 and there were no 200+ games. Paul Simmons was close to both scores though and had the best handicap scores with his best match of this league.

Martin Cook started the league in good form and hit a 574 series(592 with handicap) which included the best game, 224 (230). Nicola Rye Holland had three consistent games to score 546 (585). Brian Grayson had a good game between two bad ones to end with the best handicap game (231, 177 scratch) Dale Cousins also featured in all the high score lists.
