Congratulations to Team Aeriel as they continue to dominate the winter league with their third league win in a row. In a tense finish this year, partly down to absent bowlers, Aeriel took just enough points from the Late Shows to clinch the title. Lightning Strikes put up another strong performance in winning 10-2 but finished three points behind the winners. Not at All did all they could to challenge for second by beating Hit & Miss 12-0 but only managed to close the gap to LS to four points.

The top teams were all represented in the high scores list with Boycie having another good week with 553 (634 with handicap) including the best game of the night - a new high game 234 (261). Eric pulled out all the stops to hit 540 (600) and Terry Highton scored a season best 515 (626).

The average scratch game this week was 145.2 and the league to date average remained at 144.7. The average scratch series was 435.7 (last week 442.9).
