After another 8-4 win Mac Too retain the lead and with the same margin, nine points, as last week. Dominoes take over from Duo in second and Hit and Miss move up a place to fourth above Brothers Grimm.

A low scoring week: only John Bryer managed a 500+ series and Rose Barton was the closest to a 200 game. Rose followed her good week last week with new season best scores and the best handicap totals this week: a 240 game and 621 series. Carl Briggs was close behind with a 619 series (490 scratch).

Mike Davies had season best scores tonight beating his high series by 44. Liz Lake improved her high series by 18 to 463 (586) and James Ferrie also had new high game and series scores.

6-7 split Carl Briggs was successful with a 6-7 split.

The league scratch average improved by 0.2 to 138.5

Mac Too returned to winning ways tonight with an 8-4 win over Glitter Girls. They now have an eight point margin over Duo in second who move up four places after playing their back match. Brothers Grimm and Pin Pals drop down the table after postponing their match. John Bryer and Ray Telfer (now called the Beastie Boys) move up four places to seventh.

John Bryer and Rich Lester top all of the scratch high score lists: John had two series over 500 tonight (528 and 503 ) and Rich had two games of 203 (231). Rose Barton had the best handicap series, 619 (475 scratch -20 higher than her previous high for this league)

Terry Highton improved his high series by 16 to 484 (592). Tony Pearce and Rich Lester both had new high games.

Mac Too keep top spot this week even after losing 4-8 to Chuckle Brothers. Brothers Grimm close the gap by four points after beating Hit & Miss by 8-4. Doinoes move up three places to third, another four points behind an Pin Pals move up to fourth, both at the expense of Hit & Miss and Duo.

John Bryer was top scorer again with 540 this week (597 with handicap) and the best scratch game of the night, 212 (231). Mick King improved his high series for the league by 34 to reach 500 for a score of 504 (639 - the best of the night). Berenice Davies had the best handicap game, 245 (179 scratch) after an improvement of 35 on her previous best game. She also improved her best series by 49 to 419 (617)

Merv Farrow hit a new high series, 22 higher at 502 (601), his first time over 500 this league. Barbara Lewis had new high series, +33 to 413 (590) and a new hig game +16 at 166 (225). Terry Highton and James Ferrie also hit new high series tonight.

2-7-10 split Rose Barton converted a 2 -7-10 split and Tony Pearce got a 6-8-10. Lew Ashenden was successful with a 6-7 while Steve Emmony missed all five big splits in his second game.

The league scratch average improved slightly to 137.8

After another 12-0 win, over past winners X-Men, Mac Too now have an 11 point lead over Brothers Grimm who kept second place after winning 9-3 against Lightning Strikes, also previous winners. Hit and Miss rise a place to third, a further three points down after a 10-2 win over Stealth Bowlers.

John Bryer had the best scratch series of the league to date with 590 (659 with handicap) including the best game of the night, 213 (236). Nikky Rye Holland scored the best handicap game, 249 (201 scratch) which is the second best of the season. She also had a 500 series for the first time this league, a 59 improvment to 515 (659)

Graham Lewis hit his first 500 series this season, an improvemnet of 67 over his previous best to 515 (641). He also improved his high game by 22 to 197 (235). Donna Smith and Berenice Davies both improved their high game and series scores and Anita Highton had a new high game, 176 (233)

In a week disrupted by two postponements, Mac Too move further ahead at the top of the table. The clash between the leaders and Brothers Grimm in second was comfortably won by Mac Too and their lead is now eight points. Dominoes and Hit and Miss move up one place to third and fourth at the expense of Duo who didn't play this week.

Star player this week was rapidly improving Chris Woodward of Red Not Blue who had a personal best game of 220 (257 with handicap) and a new high series 519 (630). Red Not Blue feature in all of the high team score lists this week and are in the top five scores for the league to date.

Mick King found his form again to improve his high series in this league by 57 to 470 (617) including a new high game 18 higher at 187 (236). Rose Barton also returned to form with an improvement of 44 on her high series to 455 (605).

Only Duo from last week's top four teams won tonight and they move up a place to third at the expense of Dominoes. Mac Too and Brothers Grimm retain first and second but with a four point gap instead of two.

Paul Hurst was the only player to beat the 200 and 500 levels this week with 202 (248 with handicap) and a new pb for this league, 525 (663). Stealth Bowlers played twice last night and Carl Briggs had two good handicap series, 672 and 646. The team take most of the high scores both scratch and handicap.

Nicola Rye-Holland improved her high series by 48 to 456 (606) and Lew Ashenden had both a new high game, 25 higher at 173 (230) and series 59 higher at 452 (623). Chris Woodward had a new high game, 3 higher at 189 (228).

With their fourth win in a row, Mac Too take a two point lead in the league from Brothers Grimm. Mac Too beat new team Red Not Blue 12-0 while last weeks leaders Brothers Grimm only took eight points from Duo. A further gap of six points to Dominoes in third while Duo slip another place to fourth.

Steve Emmony ws the only player over 500 this week; 511 (619 with handicap) but Alan Barton was not far behind with his best series for some time, 490 (646 - the best this week). Alan also had the best game at scratch and handicap, 189 (241) and Dominoes head the team high score lists.

6-7 split John Bryer dealt with a 6-7 split and Graham Lewis converted a 5-10 split.

Chris Woodward (Red not Blue) was top scorer this week with 497 (632 with handicap). Chris Johnson (Boom) also hit a 632 handicap series and had the best handicap game, 234. Red not Blue produced the highest team handicap series of the league so far with 1,226.
